SUMMER ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES COORDINATOR

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Administrative Services Coordinator will coordinate materials, registration, and communication to support 9 weeks of summer camp as their primary responsibility. Tasks will include the preparation of materials for camp and parent communication and distribution of these materials, registration, and database management, including attendance entry and follow-up with families. They will act as the office liaison with camp locations and will procure and prepare needed materials for daily and weekly sessions.

Additionally, they will organize and support summer fund development campaigns and events, contribute to social media accounts on a regular basis, correspondence and report to funders, families, volunteers, and the community at large. The admin coordinator will be back up support for the camp staff team and support the organization with general office duties.

 

This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs, candidates must be 15-30 years of age and be legally able to work in Canada.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for the Girls Inc. mission
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Google suite, Microsoft suite are required. Experience with social media for business, graphic design/Canva, database/CRM and wordpress is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and regular access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
  • Must obtain a satisfactory criminal records and vulnerable sectors check

 

30-35 hours per week, 8-10 weeks beginning June 24, $17.00/ hour, position is based at our Brockville office but travel throughout Leeds Grenville will be required
